Contest Overview
The insurance industry is looking to innovation to drive its future. While much of the industry's innovation is happening within organizations, the InsurTech Hartford Innovation Challenge is open to the public, allowing for innovation to come from entrepreneurs, students, and innovators inside and outside of the insurance industry. The challenge seeks to provide innovators and entrepreneurs access to services, mentorship, and resources to continue a pathway to success.
Best Emerging InsurTech Innovation - $10,000
An open category under which all participants will be rated for problem statement, problem/solution fit, feasibility, and disruption to the industry.
Most Innovative Beazley Breach Response (BBR) Solution $10,000
How can InsurTech digitally support the social value of insurance during a pandemic? Beazley Insurance will award this prize to the best solution which helps BBR:
• Assess cyber risk
• Identify vulnerabilities and breaches real-time
• Mitigate operational and regulatory risks
Travelers Best Self-Service Award $10,000
Accelerating self-service capabilities: in times of social distancing, Travelers will award this prize to InsurTechs that can help us accelerate capabilities for customers & agents around policy management and claims self-servicing.
